On Saturday the Leicester vegan fair returned for the third and final time this year, this time taking up the space within Fullhurst College. I wasn’t sure what to expect this time around. The first two vegan markets were an amazing success, but I wasn’t sure if that was partly due to the location of it being right in the city centre.
Well, I needn’t have worried. When we arrived around 11:30 the parking lot was overflowing and there was a steady stream of people arriving to the event. Inside, there were plenty of stalls selling every type of food you’d want from a vegan market, as well as different charities, a vegan family room, cooking demos and live music. There was even a brewery this time selling their own beer, result!
I’m always worried about food selling out, so Andrew and I made our way around all the hot food vendors first and then hit up the other food stalls for treats to take home. Here are just a few highlights from the event:
